What are the benefits of Turkey Tail Mushroom Tincture?

Turkey tail mushroom (Trametes Versicolor) is a medicinal mushroom that has been used for centuries for its health benefits. It is known for its immune-boosting properties, and it has also been shown to help fight cancer, reduce inflammation, and improve gut health. It is called Turkey Tail as it resembles the tail of a turkey.

Turkey Tail mushroom tincture is a liquid extract of the mushroom that is highly concentrated and bioavailable.

Studies suggest that some of the bioactive compounds in Turkey Tail may boost immunity while protecting against cancer and inflammation. See here for more detailed research information.

Some of the benefits from taking Turkey Tail mushroom are:

  • Immune System Support. Turkey tail contains polysaccharides that have been shown to boost the immune system. These polysaccharides can help the body fight off infection and disease as it increases the production of white blood cells, reduces inflammation and boosts production of interferon
  • Cancer cell growth inhibition. Turkey tail contains certain polysaccharides that can inhibit the growth of cancer cells by blocking the formation of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. They can also help to kill cancer cells by inducing apoptosis, or programmed cell death.
  • Reduces Inflammation. Turkey tail contains antioxidants that can help reduce inflammation. Inflammation is a major factor in many chronic diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, and arthritis.
  • Improves Gut Health. Polysaccharide peptide is a type of beta-glucan in Turkey Tail that has been shown to improve gut health by increasing the production of beneficial bacteria and reducing inflammation. In addition to beta-glucans and polysaccharides, Turkey Tail also contains triterpenes and flavonoids that protect the gut.

How is Bristol CBD’s Turkey Tail Mushroom Tincture made?

To make our potent, Turkey Tail Mushroom Tincture, we only use the fruiting bodies of organically grown mushrooms, no mycelium. The tincture is triple-extracted with ultrasonic assisted extraction (UAE) technology, as well as alcohol and hot water. This innovative triple extraction ensures the highest potency and maximises the bioavailability of the Turkey Tail so that you absorb more of the compounds found in the fruiting body.

How to take and dosage:

We recommend taking 1 – 2 droppers per day. Each squeeze on the pipette is approximately 1ml.  The maximum recommended dose is 2ml per day.

Add Turkey Tail tincture to your tea, smoothies, soups, water or place directly under your tongue.

Shake before use.
